What is MQA?
MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording. The master MQA file is fully authenticated and is small enough to stream or download.
'MQA's Music Origami'
M500 includes a full MQA Decoder which will unfold the file to deliver the highest possible sound quality. At this level of playback you will be hearing what the artists created in the studio. M500 supports MQA decoding via USB input only.
PCM playback supports up to 32bit/768kHz
The M500 is also capable of playing high resolution PCM digital audio up to 32 bits. Capable of sampling digital audio up to 32bit/768kHz without the need to reduce the sample rate. At the same time the M500 also supports up to DSD512 native DSD playback without conversion.
Independent volume adjustment function
Independent headphone volume design does not interfere with the preamp volume.

Hi-Fi level internal material
M500 uses top performance D/A chip ES9038PRO from ESS Technology. The DAC chip achieves the highest performance in the industry with a SNR of 140dB and total harmonic distortion plus noise of -122dB. It is also a 32bit, eight-channel DAC chip with high resolution and high SNR and high dynamic frequency response rate which makes the M500 achieve 0.00015% low distortion.
The high-performance power supply chip ES9311, the noise of ES9311 is as low as 1uVrms to push ES9038PRO to the limit.

3 high-end dual op-amps LME49720 are used. The M500 enables low noise density and low distortion for maximum dynamic range and provides high output drive capability.
