This new versatile slim profile symmetrical design with advanced complex insulation and low microphonics is perfectly suited to various Home Audio, desktop and portable applications, as well as to sophisticated Pro and on-board installations. It is engineered around the all-new 0.22 mm² BRC conductor along with a perfectly matched wave impedance of 100 Ohm for superior noise immunity. The modified 2-layer CAFPE® conductor insulation, with the extended inner air-foamed PE layer, is overlaid with an improved uniformity and homogeneity. The dielectric binding undertaken with non-coloured SPVC with low permeability, high decrement and excellent filling capability reduces distributed capacitance and signal energy loss.

The new Standard Balanced IC is highly recommended for dedicated professional applications, where its microphonism, which is second to none, is a key requirement. It is fitted with the ergonomic Standard NG plugs with the pins made of high purity copper for superior signal conformity and secure contact even when used with flush-mounted sockets.
