American black walnut solid-wood cups
The FIIO FT1 cups are made from carefully selected FAS-grade American black walnut*. The wood’s smooth grain unique to each piece and delicate texture truly showcase its natural beauty. This highly dense solid wood also helps to reduce cavity resonance effectively and minimizes standing waves.
Nanowood fiber composite diaphragm
The FIIO FT1’s diaphragm primarily consists of carefully selected paper wood fibers, based on 90-year-old spruce wood from Northern Europe. European spruce is a top-grade raw material for musical instruments and fiber products, known for its clear sound and natural tone. Mature Northern European spruce wood undergoes a series of processes, including soaking, cooking, and beating, to create specific pulp. To meet acoustic toughness requirements, a precise proportion of carbon fiber material is added. The diaphragm then undergoes another round of baking and molding, resulting in a final thickness of approximately 0.1mm, lightweight and tough. To fully unleash the acoustic performance of the nanowood fibers, light PU material with high internal resistance is utilized for the suspension gasket, improving diaphragm compliance, enhancing low-frequency elasticity, and strengthening the density of vocals from the source of the sound, thus resulting in warm, lush vocals.
Closed-back design
The FT1, as FIIO’s first closed-back over-ear headphones, incorporates a variety of features that specifically enhance the closed-back listening experience. A series of sound insulation components in the FT1 effectively reduce ambient noise, including external voices and environmental sounds, by up to 26dB. Whether you’re commuting, editing recordings, working in an office, or gaming, the FT1 allows you to immerse yourself in a high-fidelity audio world. U-shaped sound damping tube for enhanced noise attenuation
The U-shaped sound damping tube specifically developed for the FIIO FT1 not only enhances passive noise attenuation but also allows sound energy to pass through a specific length and angle of the flute, increasing air viscosity and reducing cavity resonance frequency. This further enhances bass extension. You’ll distinctly feel the air movement and the focused power of drums and strings.
32Ω high-sensitivity design
The FIIO FT1 aims to provide users with a high-quality HiFi experience across various usage scenarios. To achieve this, the FT1 features a low impedance design of 32Ω and boasts acoustic sensitivity metrics of 113dB/Vrms@1kHz (equivalent to 98dB/mW@1kHz). This significantly reduces the demand for driving power, allowing you to effortlessly enjoy excellent sound quality.
Ball bearing slide rail headband
To make it more portable and lightweight, the FT1 headband features high-quality ball bearing slides, significantly enhancing the headband’s durability. You will feel the precision and sophistication of the mechanical design every time you adjust the headband. Additionally, compared to similar products, the FT1 offers 12 notches of extended adjustment range to accommodate various head sizes. The part of the headband in contact with the head is made of suede leather material for a soft and comfortable wearing experience.

2 silver-plated oxygen-free copper cables included
The brand-new FT1 comes with two headphone cables – terminated in 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced plugs. Both cables are identically made using an oxygen-free copper-plated silver wire base with 392 wires, are of 24AWG thickness, and are 1.5 meters long. This makes the FT1 widely compatible with many audio devices, as you can easily switch between the cables. They produce a transparent yet robust sound, allowing you to fully enjoy quality lossless audio.
