Results of a new sound quality evaluation method
The development of the A Series began with analyzing the relationship between sound quality and physical characteristics and establishing a new evaluation method, which resulted in the flagship earphones A8000. We listen to music recorded in various qualities and at various volume levels. However, conventional evaluation methods generally involve subjective evaluation under fixed conditions such as sound pressure, making it difficult to judge good sound in line with actual product listening. With the A6000, we have adopted a new evaluation method that is in line with actual music listening conditions to create the sound.
Equipped with self-developed driver unit "f-Core DU"
We have developed a completely new 6mmφ dynamic driver unit "f-Core DU" by designing the driver parts such as the diaphragm, voice coil, magnet, magnetic circuit, adhesives for each part, and even the production equipment in-house. The material used for the driver front housing is brass, which is less susceptible to magnetic forces than general aluminum and has a high specific gravity. To improve the time response performance of the diaphragm, we use 30μ ultra-fine CCAW for the voice coil and assemble it with a minimum of adhesive to thoroughly reduce the weight of the moving parts. In addition, the diaphragm is carefully pressed in a small lot of about 1/3 the usual size, minimizing pressure bias and achieving the molding of a uniform diaphragm without distortion.
Special housing equipped with newly developed "stainless steel mounting frame"
The flagship model A8000 was fixed directly to the stainless steel housing to maximize the performance of the driver. For the A6000, a new stainless steel mounting frame was developed to hold the "f-Core DU". The lightweight resin housing provides a comfortable fit, while the internal metal frame increases the rigidity of the housing and firmly supports the driver. This has resulted in a sound quality with extremely fine sound grain and clear contours of each sound.
"Hard grain processing" combines texture and functionality
The surface of the resin case is treated with a unique "hard grain" finish. "Grain" means "particles," and the special processing gives the surface of the case fine shading, increasing its rigidity while preventing scratches and fingerprint smudges.
Newly designed 2PIN soft single crystal copper cable
We have developed a new, easy-to-handle 2-PIN cable that uses single crystal copper with excellent conductivity, achieving a sound that combines high resolution with a soft texture.
Ear pieces for optimal fit
In order to maximize the sound quality of this product, the earpiece "TYPE E" with a wider opening is included. Two types of silicone material with different hardness are used for the sound conduit part and the part that touches the ear. The sound conduit part is made of silicone with a higher hardness than the part that touches the ear, and by applying groove processing to it, it achieves both strength and flexibility. Five sizes are included: SS/S/M/L/LL, so you can choose according to your preference.
Silicone carry case
This silicone carry case allows you to roll up the cable for easy storage. The earphones are softly secured in place with a thin, dome-shaped silicone lid.
