Our UM 3D bone conduction array positions a three-axis bone conduction system along the X, Y, and Z planes, reconstructing sound like never before. The result is:

With this three-axis layout, Mason Asahi simulates how sound spreads through a room, conveying a sense of presence that simply cannot be achieved with conventional bone conduction.
Full frequency range, full-bodied sound
Mason Asahi uses three bone conduction drivers, each tuned to a specific part of the frequency range. Together they provide power in the bass range, presence in the midrange and extended details in the treble range.
- Bass is deeper and more structured.
- Mids are clearer and more expressive.
- Highs extend smoothly up to 35 kHz.
This multi-axis configuration allows bone conduction to contribute across the entire bandwidth and thus ensures a more immersive and natural reproduction without changing the sound balance or to cause fatigue.

A total of twelve balanced armature drivers are distributed across three frequency bands for optimal performance:

Hardwood & Carbon Fiber Composite
The Mason Asahi shell is made of rare hardwoods and high-strength carbon fiber composite. These materials are pressed into shape using precision molds, resulting in a design that is both functional and artistic. The optical surface evokes the first light of dawn. Warm golden wood grain blends into woven carbon structures, blending organic and modern elements in a way that appears timeless and balanced.

Every Mason Asahi comes with the UM Fantasy custom cable. Designed to preserve the finest details and eliminate unwanted noise, the UM Fantasy is a good match for neutral and high-resolution sources.
