Master of All Trades
The BTR17 showcases FiiO’s expertise in DACs and headphone amps, packing flagship features like a multi-stage audio architecture and precision power supply into a compact design. A versatile powerhouse, it sets a new standard for Bluetooth headphone amps.
A New Era of Bluetooth
The BTR17 features Qualcomm’s flagship QCC5182 chip, supporting Bluetooth LE Audio with a 2.1Mbps bandwidth for CD-level lossless sound via aptX Adaptive. With Bluetooth 5.4 and support for LDAC, aptX Adaptive 96kHz/24bit, and Snapdragon Sound, it delivers an unmatched Bluetooth listening experience.
Patented Desktop Mode
The BTR17 features a dedicated desktop mode switch (D.Mode) and an external power port. In this mode, it can act as a dongle DAC/amp while being powered via USB, protecting its battery and preserving your phone’s charge. With external power, its THX amp utilizes four op-amps in parallel, delivering up to 650mW + 650mW balanced output—203% more power than the BTR7, rivaling desktop amplifiers.
XMOS 16-Core XU316
The flagship XMOS XU316 USB chip offers lower latency, stable transmission, and improved compatibility compared to standard USB controllers. Supporting 768kHz/32bit audio, DSD512 native, and MQA full decoding, it handles virtually any audio stream with ease. Its powerful processing also enables high-definition PEQ for audio up to 192kHz on the BTR17.
Sound Tuning
FiiO’s refined integration of hardware and software delivers user-friendly apps and precise PEQ adjustments. You can fine-tune EQ points, gain, bandwidth, and Q values to customize or correct headphone frequency responses. EQ curves can also be imported, exported, shared, and saved, offering endless possibilities for sound tuning.
Dual Flagship ES9069Q DACs
The BTR17 houses dual ESS ES9069Q DACs with 4th-gen 32-bit HyperStream architecture, combining high performance with low power consumption. This design minimizes digital noise, achieving a 130dB dynamic range and -120dB THD, resulting in a clean audio background and richly musical sound.
Multi-Stage Design
The BTR17 features a three-stage precision power supply with overvoltage protection, DC-DC boost conversion, and high-precision LDO voltage stabilization. Independent power rails for digital, DAC, and analog amplification ensure stable energy delivery for superior sound quality. Packed with mid-to-high-end HiFi player-level signal processing, it uses dual-clock DACs and multi-stage analog audio processing to deliver precise detail and dynamic range, rivaling premium digital audio players.
