A DAC Amp combo that truly satisfies.
Technicality. The heart, ES9068AS x2, with days and days of tweaking and tuning, achieved unprecented clarity and unmatched musicality.
Design. Gorgeous from every angle. It won the Red Dot Design Award and the Golden Pin Design Award.
Performance. As usual we maxed out the components we use, having 0.00002% harmonics distortion. Plus, it has our greatest NFCA headphone amplifier built in.
One for all
USB input can be connected to a PC, or OTG to mobile phones and tablets.
Bluetooth input supports SONY LDAC high-resolution audio, and wireless input liberates the audio source and facilitates use.
Coaxial input + optical input can be connected to audio sources such as DVD players, digital broadcasting, TV set-top boxes, game consoles, etc.

With careful engineering and attention to details from our engineering team, we are able to achieve 0.00009% THD+N by 2 x ES9068AS. This provides pristine sound quality.
Plug and play - turn your PC into a Hi-Fi source
DX5 has a wide range of compatibility. Windows 10 or above, MAC, Linux, iOS, Android can be plug and play. DX5 uses 2nd generation 16 core XMOS XU216, USB supports up to PCM23bit768kHz, DSD512 native and MQA full decode.
Full MQA decoding
Products with a full MQA decoder, like the DX5 DAC. unfold the file to deliver the highest possible sound quality. At this level of playback you are hearing what the artists created in the studio - with precise file and platform-specific DAC compensation and management.
The Topping DX5 includes MQA technology, which enables you to play back MQA audio files and streams through all major inpouts (inlcuding USB, Coaxial, and Optical) delivering the sound of the original master recording.
'MQA' or 'MQA' indicates that the product is decoding and playing an MQA stream or file and denotes provenance to ensure that the sound is identical to that of the source material.
'MQA' indicates it is playing an MQA Studio file, which has either been approved in the studio by the artist/producer or has been verified by the copyright owner.
'OFS' or OrF' confirms that the product is receiving an MQA stream or file. This delivers the final unfold of the MQA file and displays the original sample rate.
LDAC 24bit96kHz Bluetooth transmission
The DX5 has certification of Hi-Res Audio Wirelesss and LDAC. It uses the newest QCC5125 chipset to support LDAC/AAC/SBC/APTX/APTX LL/APTX HD protocols.
To get even better sound quality from Bluetooth, we abandon the built-in DAC of QCC5125 and connect its digital signal to 2 x ES9068AS to decode.
Built-in NFCA headphone amp
The nex DX5 has the NFCA circuit optimised for this unit, giving the ultra low noise and distortion. It pairs with high sensitivity IEMs and power hungry high-impedance headphones nicely.
Two gain settings
The DX5 provides two gain settings, which greatly expands the range of headphone adaption.
Multiple output mode
Adapt to different usage scenarios, the DX% has 4 output modes: "Headphone Amp", "Headphone Amp + Line out", "DAC" and "Pre-amplifier".
