Developed especially for speakers with a split bi-wirable crossover inputs, the Classic Bi-Wire MkII SC shares all the same design improvements as its ordinary counterpart, the Classic MkII SC. As it utilizes 4 enlarged 2.85 mm² multi-stranded BRC conductors its outer diameter is slightly bigger. The individual LF and MF/HF signal paths prevent any detrimental modulation of the HF signals by high amplitude LF components due to the exclusion of the bonding effect. The declared benefits of Bi-Wiring are improved micro dynamics, transparency and a more defined imaging in space. However, theoretical advantages don't always transform into apparent sonic refinements in reality. The reason in most cases is poorly engineered crossover alignment. Nevertheless, according to the feedback received, the users of Classic Bi-Wire MkII SC detected obvious sound improvements against a conventional wiring arrangement.
