Homegrown in Melbourne Australia, Burson Audio specialises in high quality, compact audio components. And, unusually, it provides user-installable upgrade op amps for several of its products. Remove some Allen screws, unplug the old component, plug in the new and screw the unit back together.
Most Burson Audio products use machined aluminium cases with heavy fluting all four sides to handle cooling. Optional “Cool Stands”, which are styled to match, allow any of the components to be placed on its edge rather than down flat. Amongst the products are power amps, DACs and integrated amps.
